Motor AuctionsHow to enter a vehicleSale Date = Wednesday @ 6.30 p.m. We are open for reception of vehicles, Monday to Friday, between 9.00 a.m. and 5 p.m. Vehicles entered up to 5 p.m. Wednesday evening will be offered for sale in that week’s auction. Entering a car usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes. You will need to complete an entry form, which can be downloaded from this link, complete it and pass it into the office when you present the car. If you have not already completed an entry form, they are available from the motor auction office. All parts of the form need to be completed, other than the “Office use only” part. Entry forms can also be faxed back to the motor auctions office on 01904 489782. Write your name, address and telephone numbers clearly and sign the form. All the questions relating to the vehicle need to be answered and don’t forget to include your reserve*. Write clearly the full vehicle details, MOT expiry date, Tax Expiry date and the mileage**. Payments by BACS – We can pay the proceeds of your sale direct into your bank account. If you would like to be paid by this method, please ensure that your details are correct, as mistakes will take time to rectify. Documents required – You should bring to the office all documents relating to your lot. Registration document (V5C), MOT Certificate, TAX disc and service history, will be checked. The Registration document needs to be signed, but don’t worry if you have not done so as we will identify where this should be done. All vendors entering vehicles need to pay an entry fee in advance of the sale. Please click on this link to see the current auction charges.The entry fee covers for two consecutive sales People entering vehicles on the day of sale should be warned that the office does get very busy at times and you may have to wait to be served. Also, if you enter your lot on the Monday or Tuesday, prior to the sale, we will endeavour to photograph your vehicle for publication on this web site. * Reserves – ALL vehicles over 10 years oldwithout a current MOT will be sold with No Reserve. ALL vehicles over 14 years old with or without a current MOT will be sold with No Reserve.
