York Auction Centre had 177 head of stock through the market including 45 calves, 116 store cattle and 16 pedigree cattle at their weekly Store Stock market.

16 head of cattle forward, including 6 bulls and 8 females, also 2 calves at foot. The champion Bull was a Limousin presented by A Brown, Foggathorpe and sold to J H & D Emmerson, Hunmanby for 3,200gns. The Female Championship went to a Simmental Heifer presented by A K & R J Steele, Weeton and bought by S & S Hough, Pontefract for 1,220gns.
